South Asian Fulbright Alumni Conference
Eight Pakistani Fulbright alumni, along with USEFP Executive Director Dr. Grace Clark and two USEFP staff attended the South Asian Fulbright Alumni Conference, held in Kathmandu, Nepal on January 20-23, 2008.
The theme of the conference was “Public Service and Building Civil Society”. The presenters focused on highlighting the areas where Fulbright alumni can help to improve local communities through fostering civil society and public service. It was an enriching experience for the delegates from Pakistan as in addition to the academic presentations, the participants took part in the community service as well.
